No. In Texas the choice of repair facility belongs to you, not your carrier. Bring us the estimate they wrote and we will work from it, including filing a supplement if the damage exceeds what the adjuster counted.
Your car stays with us from the moment you sign the service agreement. The total time depends on the damage, your insurance company's approval, and parts availability.
Insurance approval. Some insurers approve the repair in 3 to 5 business days, others take 10 business days or longer. The timing is up to your insurance company, not us. You can help speed things up: call your insurer, ask about the status of your claim, and ask them to approve the repair. A call from the policyholder often moves things faster.
Repair. Once the repair is approved, the time depends on the damage. Light hail damage can be finished in as little as 1 to 5 days. Heavy hail damage, collision repairs, paint work, or parts on back order can take 3 to 4 weeks or longer. If we find more damage during the repair, the insurer has to approve it too, which can add time.
