why it matters here

Hail season in Central Texas

Austin sits on the southern edge of Hail Alley, and storms rolling in off the Hill Country can pepper hoods, roofs and trunk lids across entire neighborhoods in minutes.

When the paint isn’t cracked, paintless dent repair is the right call. We work from behind the panel and bring the metal back, so your factory paint is never sanded, filled or repainted.

When a panel does need paint, we do that too, and we do it right. The problem is rushed work: dents packed with body filler, poor prep, mismatched color and texture. It might pass on pickup day, but over time it shows, and the car starts to look older than it is.

Our standard comes from the factory floor. Our founder spent years repairing hail damage on brand-new vehicles inside manufacturing plants, where every panel had to pass light-tunnel inspection. That’s the level we hold every repair to, whether it’s PDR or paint.

Your claim, handled

  1. The shop is your choice

Texas law gives you the right to pick where your vehicle is repaired. Your carrier can recommend a shop; it cannot require one. We accept State Farm, GEICO, Progressive, Allstate, USAA, Liberty Mutual, Farmers, Nationwide and the rest.

  2. We re-inspect before anything starts

Adjusters work fast and miss dents, especially on roofs and horizontal panels. We run our own count under raking light. When we find more than the original estimate covers, we file the supplement with your carrier ourselves.

  3. No paint work on your record

Because paintless repair never touches the paint, nothing gets reported as refinishing. So nothing shows up as paint work when you sell or trade in the car.

  4. Free inspection before you file

Bring the car by our Austin shop and we will tell you if the damage is worth a claim. About ten minutes, free, no obligation.

Austin questions

Common questions

How much does hail repair cost in Austin?

It depends on how many dents there are, how big they are, and which panels were hit. Light damage on one or two panels often runs a few hundred dollars, while a car hit end to end can reach several thousand. Most hail damage can be fixed with paintless dent repair, which means no sanding, filler, or repainting. Your factory paint stays intact, and the repair usually costs less than traditional body work.

Free preliminary estimate. Stop by our Austin shop at 12225 Roxie Dr and we’ll inspect your car and give you a free preliminary estimate on the spot.

Full estimate. A complete, itemized estimate is a bigger job. We bring the car inside, map and count every dent, run the numbers, and enter it all into our estimating system. That takes time, software, and skilled technicians, so there’s a fee when a full estimate is requested without a repair. The fee depends on your vehicle and the options you choose, so stop by the shop and we’ll walk you through them.

Repairing with us? Then you don’t pay that fee. We handle the entire process with your insurance, and if you have comprehensive coverage, you pay only your deductible.

Do you serve Cedar Park and Round Rock?

Yes. We serve Austin and the surrounding area, including Cedar Park, Round Rock, Leander, Pflugerville, Georgetown, Lakeway, Bee Cave, Hutto, Kyle, Buda, Manor, Jollyville, Anderson Mill. Our shop is at 12225 Roxie Dr, Austin.

Out of town or out of state? We’ll come get your car. Just sign our service agreement and we’ll send a trailer to pick up your vehicle, repair it at our shop, and deliver it back to you.

My insurance recommended a different shop. Do I have to use it?

No. In Texas the choice of repair facility belongs to you, not your carrier. Bring us the estimate they wrote and we will work from it, including filing a supplement if the damage exceeds what the adjuster counted.

How long will my car be in the shop?

Your car stays with us from the moment you sign the service agreement. The total time depends on the damage, your insurance company’s approval, and parts availability.

Insurance approval. Some insurers approve the repair in 3 to 5 business days, others take 10 business days or longer. The timing is up to your insurance company, not us. A call from the policyholder asking them to approve the repair often moves things faster.

Repair. Once the repair is approved, light hail damage can be finished in as little as 1 to 5 days. Heavy hail damage, collision repairs, paint work, or parts on back order can take 3 to 4 weeks or longer.

Our commitment. We won’t promise a date we can’t guarantee. Once the repair is approved, we’ll give you an estimated completion date and keep you updated at every step.

Do you repair trucks and luxury vehicles?

Yes. We repair pickup trucks, SUVs, Teslas, and high-end vehicles, including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche, and Lexus.

Our founder spent many years in Europe working inside Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Audi manufacturing plants on large-scale hail operations, each involving 30,000 to 60,000 brand-new vehicles. Every car had to pass factory light-tunnel inspection before leaving the line.

On premium vehicles, paintless dent repair is often the best option, because keeping the original factory paint helps protect the car’s value. Many of these vehicles also use aluminum panels, which take more skill to repair.
