Insurance claim assistance

We help you navigate the insurance process.

From your first inspection to the final repair, we help you understand the process and work with your insurance company.

The basics

Four things to know

  • You choose the shop

You have the right to select where your vehicle is repaired, regardless of which shop your carrier recommends. The decision is yours, not theirs.

  • Bring us the estimate

Adjusters miss dents. We run our own inspection under proper lighting, and when the damage we find exceeds the original estimate, we handle the supplement request with your carrier directly.

  • Your factory paint stays original

Paintless Dent Repair removes dents without touching your factory paint. No sanding, no filler, no repainting, so your car keeps its original finish and value.

  • Not sure it’s worth filing?

Bring the car in. We inspect it for free and tell you if it’s worth filing a claim.

After drop-off

What happens next

Here’s what to expect once you leave your vehicle with us.

  1. Approval

    Your insurer approves the repair

We send the estimate to your insurance company and follow up until the repair is approved. A quick call from you can help things move faster.

  2. Repair

    We fix the car

As soon as the repair is approved, we get to work. Light hail damage is often done in just a few days, and if your car needs more work, we’ll tell you up front.

  3. Supplement

    If we find more damage

If we find damage the first estimate missed, we file the supplement with your insurer ourselves, so you get the full repair you’re owed.

  4. Updates

You always know where it stands

Once the repair is approved, you’ll get an estimated completion date, and we’ll keep you updated at every step.

Know your rights in Texas

Hail claims in Texas

Hail is weather damage you didn’t cause. Here is what Texas rules say about your auto policy.

  • Hail falls under comprehensive coverage

Hail damage isn’t treated like an accident. It’s covered under the comprehensive part of your auto policy. Not sure what your policy includes? Bring your insurance info and we’ll help you check.

  • Your policy can’t be dropped for a hail claim

Texas doesn’t allow your insurer to refuse to renew your auto policy just because you filed a weather claim like hail, wind or flood.

  • You choose the shop and the parts

Your insurer can give you a list of preferred shops, but it can’t require you to use one.

  • What about your rate?

A hail claim isn’t an at-fault accident. Rates in an area can go up after big storm years, whether you file a claim or not.

Why this matters

A few important things to keep in mind

  • Before approval, your insurance company sets the pace. We follow up with them so you don’t have to chase anyone.

  • After approval, the repair is in our hands, and we stand behind it with a lifetime warranty.

  • Don’t wait too long. After big storms, insurers get a lot of claims, so starting early helps your claim move sooner.

  • You have rights. Texas law sets deadlines for insurers to respond to and pay claims, so it’s always OK to ask your insurance company for an update.

Think twice

Before cashing the check without repairing your car

The first check from your insurance is based on the preliminary estimate, not the full cost of the repair. If you deposit it and don’t fix your car, you may lose money in the long run.

  • You may never get the full value.

Additional damage found by the shop (the supplement) is usually only paid when the car is actually repaired.

  • A second hailstorm can cost you more.

If your car is hit again, your insurance may ask whether the first damage was repaired. Unrepaired prior damage is typically excluded from the new claim, so the second payout may be much lower.

  • Your car loses value.

A vehicle with unrepaired hail damage, especially from more than one storm, can be worth thousands less at resale or trade-in.

A real hail inspection

We look deeper

A proper inspection goes beyond what adjusters see. We inspect the car indoors under PDR lights, and our experienced technicians assess every dent and document any missed damage.
